I am a maker, a storyteller and someone who enjoys making order out of chaos. Whether that be in a creative brief with a pile of information that needs to be sorted – or a group of tangible things that need to be organized in a closet. It’s all the same natural high for me.
Graphic Design + Art Direction It all started from my love of cool stickers, postcards, movie posters and menus. Since design school, I’ve been known to geek out for the right color combination, a unique typeface or capturing the perfect image.
With over twenty-five years of experience, I have worked for smaller agencies (W design, The Nancekivell Group) big corporations (Target, Andersen Windows, Jostens) and as a freelancer. I have a well-rounded background, which helps me know when to make a case for something, do more research or pivot. I enjoy working in multiple settings: individually, collaboratively with other people, or mentoring junior talent.
Design Education I’ve been lucky enough to partner with teachers and other design colleagues, who are helping me mentor emerging graphic designers. It’s what I’m calling design education. My main two areas of focus are: helping high school design students dream about their future careers and how to get a job in the real world after graduating college.

Art + Sketch In Place My creative outlet outside of work, is drawing and sketching buildings, places and architecture I see along the way.
Interior Design Over the last 10 years I’ve been organizing, staging and interior designing my way through friends, clients and my own home. Yes, cleaning out a closet is my idea of a good time.
