Andersen Windows
When the products are windows and doors, the projects are large in scale, coordination, and creative scope. With no prior experience in the category, I dove in—researching, learning, and bringing a fresh perspective. Here are some of my favorite projects I concepted, designed, art directed, and executed across multiple media.
Andersen Windows A-Series System
How do you introduce a new line of windows and doors – for the first time in over twenty years – while maintaining the integrity and tradition of a 100-year old company? BIG picture thinking.
Working closely with our product experts, I informed the aesthetics and branding of this new product line called A-Series. This was a full branding strategy, including: style boards, brochures, ads and web. I created a cohesive look by combining new photography with a new color palette, to give this product line a unique voice.
Brochure
Personalization and customization, without compromising performance. The series calls out different architectural styles within the collection to help make choosing windows and doors easier.
All print collateral was tested in four key sales markets. Test groups responded overwhelmingly positive before a full launch around the United States.
Print Ads Concepts
The teaser advertisements promoting the A-Series website. Uncompromise....(your style, your life) is the running theme.
Web Video Concepts
The web videos help explain each attribute of the A-Series collection with a video for each, including: beauty, performance and attainability. Uncompromise....(your style, your life) is the running theme for the web videos and ads.

Andersen Brand Central Intranet Website
This is a hub for Andersen employees to learn about why the brand is important and how it spans across every touchpoint. Because the audience is very diverse, a standalone traditional website didn’t seem adequate. This is also the hub for the brand tool kit and houses all of the logos for the outside brand agencies.
I created an introductory video for each section of the portal that was attention-grabbing and delivered bite-sized information to anyone viewing – even if they didn’t have a marketing or design background. I partnered with a sound designer to create custom music for each video. I designed the home and landing pages, using existing photography to reduce cost.

Eagle Window National Ad
Eagle Windows was acquired by Andersen Windows and was in need of a brand alignment. This was the first of that effort – a national ad campaign that ran in trade publications including: Residential Architect, Upscale Remodeling and Custom Home.
I told the story of the architect's vision for the space he created: Inspiration can come from anywhere. The ability to fulfill it comes from Eagle. I designed the ad campaign, the first running ad and directed photography on location in Colorado.
The final print ad is featuring architect, Joe Patrick Robbins, in his dance pavilion located in the foothills of Steamboat Springs.
Eagle Window National Ad Concept Pitch
Originally the ad was going to be done by an outside agency. My writing partner and I pitched these three concepts to win the project.
Sara has that rare combination of creativity and poise that instills confidence in both her clients and her management. A very capable designer who can collaborate with anyone, and win over the toughest clients. I hope to have the pleasure of working with her again.
