Events + Logos + Brand Identities
I think on paper, so I sketch a lot. The complexity of the project dictates how complex the sketch. Sometimes my sketches can be an integral part of the process. But if time doesn't permit, I will just make a quick thumbnail and move straight to the computer.
Mara-Mi: Stationery company
Baby Stationery / Thank you / Shower Invitation / Mobile in unconventional colors
Flourish Psychology: A Denver based psychology practice, specializing in full spectrum of evidence-based services to support mental health and wellness in children, adolescents, adults & families
Garofalo Foundation: A logo that is sophisticated enough to support a family owned organization, but edgy enough to live on a wine bottle.
One Inch One Night Stand Art Show: Promo buttons, logo, call for entries poster
An in person art show, promoting local artists, inspired by similar shows in Vancouver, Seattle and Portland.
After a call for entries was sent out, local artists submitted original one inch artwork. Fifty designs were selected by jurors. The designs were made into one-inch buttons and displayed for one night at the Minneapolis Photo Center.
At the event, attendees could buy five winning buttons for $1 each and were encouraged to trade with other attendees.
Poorboy Candy
An artisan candy company specializing in caramels, caramel sauce and a variety of other traditional sweets. The color palette of the logo and identity system works well with the natural colors of the product. The strong stripe background gives a nostalgic feel. I developed all creative needs for the company, including art direction for photography. I designed the logo, color system, packaging, promo buttons, website, web banners, email images and trade show banners.
